you know, I had this fantasy that once I had a computer again I would update more regularly. oh well. Things are good. got a 40 in hand, I'm NOT playing World of Warcraft, and I think there's some pizza in my future. I don't know if I'll ever play another MMORPG. I certainly can't enjoy it this weekend, and I couldn't play it last week cause my internet was down. Now I find the only reasons I want to play are:
1. I want to get my money's worth.
2. I love the people in my guild, both old and new. truly great people that helped me out a lot, and I really wish I could return the favor.
see how that doesn't involve the game itself? its not as fun as, say...
...Fire Emblem. I beat it today. finally. I think I've had it since it came out 2 years ago, but I twice I got up to the last few chapters and found I had simply let too many characters die. See, when someone dies, they're gone for the whole game. Makes a war game rather difficult. This made the ending that much more powerful, as beating the last guys requires that you make a few... sacrifices. Probably the best finale I've seen/read since The Belgariod by David Eddings.
I played most the last half of the game at work. At the suggestion of my bosses. work is awesome, as long as I can find ways to entertain myself. I should get new strings on my guitar and just write music all day, but that'll have to wait until after I beat Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
WoW lvl 37, but I don't know if that's gonna matter anymore.
